Kansas City

Finally, we took our trip to Kansas City. We had a lot of fun. We left Thursday and drove out. Yes, 16 hours and 1000 miles. The drive out was not bad. The drive back on the other hand was not so fun. We had a head
wind from Sidney, NE almost all the way home. We hit some really bad blowing snow in Wyoming. We were only going about 20 mph. It was some of the worst conditions I have been in. We stayed the night at Bear Lake on Tuesday, the canyon looked bad and it was snowing. We woke up the next morning and finished the drive home. The canyon was mostly snow packed but not too bad. We made it home safe and sound. We had a lot of fun in Kansas City. We stayed with Ethan's sister Megan, thanks again. We went to a place called Powerplay, its a lot like the fun park, but bigger and better. We also went to Rosedale Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Nelson Atkins Art Museum and The Legends shopping center, kinda like the Gateway. We had a lot of fun just hanging out with his family. There is a Harley Davidson plant that we went on a tour of. It was very interesting and informative. We had a great time. Nothing new with the baby. Still kicking away. Only 3 more months. Yea. We are so excited for the addition to our family. Well I will update as news happens. TTFN.

Bye Bye Puppies

Last Friday our last puppy left us. :( It is kinda bitter sweet. It was sad to see them go, but its nice to be back to somewhat normal. Ruby went into heat again about the same time and we have been trying to keep them apart for the last 2 weeks. So hopefully next week it will be back to normal.
This picture is of the litter Ruby had at about 6 weeks. From left to right there is Brutuce, who is in the Salt Lake area, Chloe who is in North Logan, Diesel who is also in the North Logan area, Lincoln who is in Honeyville, Jake who will be on his way to Memphis in a few weaks, Milli who is in the Salt Lake area, and "Houdini" (that is what we called him, the new owners hadn't picked out a name for him yet) who is in San Diego. We will miss them but we know they are with great families. I am sure the next liter will come soon enough.
All things are well with the baby. It is quite the kicker. Maybe it'll be a soccer player. : ) Tata for now.

Hello. Well if you've been on my blog before it looks a little different, with the help of my sister, I am figuring more out. It still takes awhile and I only know a few things but it already looks a ton better, so thanks Kara. Anyway hopefully there will be more frequent entries now that I have figured things out a little. Take care. HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Baby update! We had our ultrasound on Monday. No we didn't find out what "it" is. I guess I won, well there wasn't much choice in the matter. "It" had its legs crossed. The whole process was amazing. I can't believe what they can see on an ultrasound. I have posted a few of the pictures. "It" was being a little stuborn and wouldn't move its hand from its face, but it was still amazing. I felt "it" kick/punch on Christmas Eve for the first time. It was an awsome feeling. I had been waiting patiently to feel it, but it couldn't have come at a better time. I will try to update with more baby or other info as soon as possible. Oh we have sold all our puppies. Its bitter sweet I guess. I miss them, but I know they are with good families. Anyway, I'll get back when there is more to report.

Baby on Board

I guess I should update my blog with our good news. We are expecting a baby!! Yah. We are due May 12th! It has not been as easy process. We had been trying for over a year when we finally found out. So we are very excited. We are hoping for a boy, but at this point we want anything. We are still in a debate as to whether we find out what it is going to be. I will try to update more often, but can't make any promises.

Puppies!!

Ruby, had her puppies this last weekend. Yeah. She started Saturday evening around 11 and we thought she was done about 6 the next morning, but she suprised us with one more Sunday night about 11. She had a total of 8, but one did not make it. So we have 7. We got got quite a variety, some colors we were not expecting. Ruby and the puppies are doing well. They have almost doubled in size. They have not opened there eyes yet, but we hope within the next week they will. They are so cute. Its going to be hard to see them go. I am sure by the time they are ready I will probably want them gone.

As you can see I am not very good at updating my information. In my defense nothing new has happened, until now. Ruby is going to have puppies. She is expected to have them the first week in October. The whole thing is kinda bitter sweet. We were planning a trip to Kansas city to see Ethan's family and go to a Tampa Bay football game, but the timing doesn't work now. We are excited that Ruby is having puppies. We have already had a ton of interest in them, which is a relief. I don't want to be stuck with all those puppies. Other than that not much going on. We have our back yard done. The dogs have not been good for the grass. We have several dead spots, but it doesn't seem to bother them. I will try to post more often or as news happens.
